Rooms were decent sized and newly renovated, well done!

Loved that the hotel was perfect and had fairly friendly staff on the same room where the waiter who pushed me back came in. My room included it's own balcony and climate control.

Fantastic stay!

Had the best time relaxing by the pool! The staff were super friendly, always ready to help. Our room had an amazing mountain view, and breakfast was on point. Only thing was the room cleaning could've been better, but didn't really ruin our time. Loved watching the bats at dusk too!

The location was just right and the staff were very courteous and helpful. The Room was also comfortable and ideal for relaxation. Internet was fast but had to pay a daily rate.

The location is ideal, offering easy access to the esplanade and local restaurants. A standout point was the friendly and helpful staff who enhanced the overall experience. The breakfast buffet offered a fantastic variety of classic American dishes. The rooms felt a bit dated and could use some updating, and the check-in process was slower than expected. While the hotel atmosphere was relaxed, it lacked some of the luxury touches found in newer establishments.

We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn. I would certainly return there if we come again to Cairns

It would've been nice to have a coffee plunger and real coffee, instead of instant. Bathroom was a bit snug but well appointed.

I loved waking up to amazing ocean views every morning from my Beautiful Double Double Room Sea View. The breakfast buffet was a dream, offering everything from fresh fruits to pastries, and it was the perfect way to fuel up for a day of adventure. Being able to stroll to the esplanade and explore nearby cafes.

This hotel room was exceptionally clean, the staff were nice, and bed was very comfortable. Internet is available for a fee and you can log on and log off. The hotel is right on the edge of the busy part of the Esplanade, far enough away for a quiet night's sleep. Underground parking is available too.

The breakfast was free and marvellous and complete with the self serve coffee and fruit, for example. The location was marvellous and beautiful, a 10-15 minute walking distance from Cairns Convention Centre;))

The spacious room offered fine ocean views. The complimentary welcome cookie added a nice touch. We had minor issues with dining options , but overall, it was a good experience.

The hotel is located near the sea/ocean frontline. Some of the rooms have a good ocean view (except 1 and 2 floors, because of the trees).

The ants could be found in some rooms.

We had a lovely ocean view room with a balcony. It was the last 2 days of a 16 day holiday and we found it comfortable and very relaxing. The room was spot on for us. It's location was great, only a few minutes walk and we were at restaurants and shopping. Also straight out from the hotel was the Esplanade walk way, which was lovely. Very good location, thorougly enjoyed our stay.

We found the pool a bit too chlorinated, but we had been using a saltwater pool for 2 weeks, so a bit unfair to compare. Other than that, we have no complaints.
